A soundscape is described as the collective sounds in an area or space that make up its acoustic environment. It’s what gives a place a certain feel or ambience. You can imagine yourself somewhere just by hearing the sounds that are familiar with it. A soundscape plays a big part in how you feel and interact with the environment you are in. I want to take that concept and incorporate it into homes with the use of audio and video technologies throughout the house. Imagine music playing in every room as you entertain guests or enjoy a nigh off with the house to yourself. Having a movie night in your own home theater with surround sound and a big screen making it feel like you’re in the movie. Really get into the game when you can hear the crowd cheering from speakers behind you. What will be the soundscape of your home?
Our Services
-
Add speakers to pretty much any room, and control what music plays where right from your phone. Whether the speakers are in the ceiling or walls, sitting on a bookshelf, floor standing towers, or plug into an outlet. There are a lot of options for getting music throughout the home, and outdoor spaces too!
-
Mount your TV to the wall for a nice finished look. Many mounting options are available, from flat against the wall, to pulled out and angled towards your seating area.
-
Feel like you’re a part of the movie, or at the stadium with a dedicated theater room with projector and screen, or a big screen TV and surround sound in the family room. Movie night and sporting events at your place!
-
Sometimes the modem/router from your internet service provider is enough, some times it’s not. For the times that its not, we can set up scalable home networks to allow for more devices to be hardwired for better performance, and increase WiFi coverage with multiple antennas to cover larger spaces.
-
Set up some surveillance cameras to keep an eye on your place while you’re gone, or let you know who’s at the front door.
-
As wireless devices become more and more common, something a lot of people don’t often think about is that you actually need wired devices to make WiFi perform at its best.
Building new? Prewire your new house for all the AV you will need as its getting built before the drywall goes up.
Remodeling instead of building? Also a good time to get wiring ran while other work is getting done.
Not Building or remodeling but still want AV work done in your finished space? We can look at options for retro fitting wires in where we can with minimal invasion.
About the Company
I’ve been in the AV industry for about two decades, and have seen technology change quite a bit over that time. A few things have remained consistent though. One is the desire to have the ability to play music throughout the whole house, and another is to have an area to gather with friends and family to enjoy a movie or sporting event. As technology advances, the ways that these things are achieved have become more accessible than they once were. I have also found that often times, the simpler the setup, the better it works. Sometimes AV systems can get so large and complex, that there are just too many moving parts to all work together consistently. I like to take the approach of less is more. The less devices needed to make the system work as desired, the more it will get used and enjoyed. As consumer grade electronics have become more advanced and able to integrate with other devices, the need for complicated control systems has gone down. I don’t want sell you on a complex system that will need constant fixes and troubleshooting, I want to get you set up with a simple system that simply works.
